Cancellation Policy 24 hour notice is required to cancel an existing appointment. Full treatment fees are charged for any missed appointments with no notice. If you are running late for your appointment please attempt to Contact Alison. You will receive treatment for the remaining time (if appropriate) but will be billed the full treatment fee. Travel & Multiple Horses/Pets Policy Travel fees (i.e., for gas, vehicle expenses and time) will apply if Alison travels to your home or barn to visit you and your 4 legged companion. Alison's on site animal treatment fees are listed below. Additional fees may be waved, however, if multiple horses/pets are receiving treatment. Please Contact Alison to discuss additional fees that might apply and group treatment discounts.    Animal Treatment - Travel Fees 0 - 25 km 26 - 50 km > 50 km $25 $50 Travel fees will be subject to the hourly treatment rate - please Contact Alison ** all distances are measured from Hands on Performance General Animal Treatment Policy While animals almost always respond very favourably to treatment, there is always the possibility that they may not want treatment or that they may be aggravated by external factors. Unlike people, animals are very cut-and-dry with their intentions, and sometimes they simply do not want to be treated. In some cases, a person present during treatment may aggravate the animal, and Alison may request that all but the owner step out of the room. Alternatively, treatment time may be affected by an animals behaviour or desire to end the treatment. Treatment is at the discretion of the animal and the therapist, and Alison will let you know if she has any concerns during a treatment.
